CURRICULUM

At Bright Beginnings Preschool . . .

Students are inspired intellectually as well as creatively. They are taught traditional preschool concepts including letter recognition, letter sounds, writing skills, number recognition, counting skills, and introductory reading skills. They are also introduced to a variety of concepts through literature, art, music, and science. We explore the world around us! A monthly calendar provides information on the planned course of study and activities scheduled for each week.

A focus on basic social skills is also emphasized. Being kind, sharing, politeness, playing well with others, making new friends, and showing respect are important parts of the curriculum.

Our #1 rule is BE NICE!

Precedence is placed on building self-esteem. It is vital for a child to feel good about themself at the beginning of their school experience so confidence and self-worth will grow with them throughout their life!

Your child’s experience at Bright Beginnings Preschool will include basic pre-k concepts, art and craft activities, an introduction to great artists, exposure to a variety of books and authors, science experiments, music and movement, singing, and hands-on learning!

WE HAVE A GREAT TIME!
